CHENERSPORTS FIT GUIDE

Find Your Best Fit.

Use your body measurements—not only your usual size label—to choose yoga wear, leggings, tops, sports bras, shorts, joggers and training apparel with more confidence.

01

How to Measure Your Body

Use a soft measuring tape and keep it level and snug without pulling it tightly into the body. Measure over lightweight clothing or underwear where comfortable.

01Bust / Chest

Measure around the fullest part of your bust or chest, keeping the tape level across your back.

02Natural Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of your torso, usually above the belly button and below the rib cage.

03Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

04Inseam

Measure from the top of the inner thigh to the ankle or your preferred trouser length.

Product-specific sizing comes first

If an individual product page provides a different chart, use that chart for that item. Different fabrics, patterns and compression levels can fit differently.

Consider the product's intended fit and stretch. If the product page provides a specific chart, use that chart instead of this general reference.

Remember

Different styles may use different supplier or product-specific sizing. The size information on the individual product page takes priority.

04

Leggings, Shorts & Bottoms

For leggings, training shorts, joggers and fitted bottoms, start with your waist and hip measurements.

WAISTNatural waist

Measure your body rather than the waistband of another garment unless the product page asks for garment dimensions.

HIPSFullest point

Hip measurement is especially important for fitted leggings and shorts.

INSEAMCheck length

Full-length, cropped and short styles can use different inseams even in the same labeled size.

COMPRESSIONKnow the fit

Compression garments may feel closer than casual activewear but should still allow comfortable movement.

05

Tops, Sports Bras & Layers

For tops, tanks, T-shirts, jackets and sports bras, start with your bust or chest measurement, then consider the intended silhouette and support level.

  • Fitted tops: check bust/chest and waist.
  • Relaxed tops: may intentionally allow more room through the body.
  • Sports bras: use any product-specific bra sizing information first.
  • Jackets and cover-ups: consider what you plan to wear underneath.
Sports bra fit

A sports bra should feel secure without painful pressure, pinching or restricting normal breathing. Support needs differ by activity and personal preference.

06

Understanding Fit & Compression

The same body measurement can feel different across fabrics and styles. Product descriptions may use terms such as compression, fitted, regular, relaxed or oversized.

CompressionClosest feel
FittedClose to body
RegularBalanced fit
RelaxedMore room
OversizedMost room

Stretch fabrics can accommodate a range of body measurements, but stretch should not be used to compensate for an obviously incorrect size.

07

Between Two Sizes?

If your measurements sit between two sizes, consider the style and how you want the garment to feel.

Consider the smaller size when
  • The product is designed for stretch
  • You prefer a closer performance fit
  • Your key measurements remain within the smaller range
Consider the larger size when
  • You prefer a more relaxed fit
  • Your hips or chest fall into the larger range
  • The fabric has limited stretch
  • You plan to layer underneath

If one measurement falls into a different size than the others, prioritize the body area most important to the garment: hips/waist for bottoms, bust/chest for tops.
